This page: Sales brochure for the Triumph Spitfire Mark III.
Triumph Spitfire Mk3.
The Mk3 version of the Triumph Spitfire is one of my favourite cars of the era, mainly because I drove a couple of them in the 1990s and a very rusty '67 example was my first project. It was in a bad bad way, but slowly over time I managed to piece it back together, and KED 453F lives to this day. It was followed a few years later by a very modified Mk3 that ran a 2.5 litre straight six engine. GRO 536G is still around somewhere too, although I think that the exciting engine conversion has made way for a more sober 1.5 unit from a Spitfire 1500 - unless you know otherwise?
This old brochure was sourced by my late uncle in 1967, he drove a green Mk2 at the time so perhaps he was pondering an upgrade? It didn't happen, and alas the Mk2 was written-off in a head-on shunt. I've put together a quick walk-through of the brochure, and it can be viewed on this page in the window below.
