This was mentioned a while back, by stuchamp I think, but a quick look at the site below is a reminder that in 2 weeks, the '57 Plymouth, buried when new, will be dug up

I wonder how they did it?... do you just push the car to the edge, handbrake off and plop!

Or was it carefully placed on all four wheels with the windows close then covered in earth?

Is the soil in contact with the car?

Surely if it was it is going to be in a rust state, from being in a damp state for all these years, be interesting to see though!

From memory the Plymouth was in a box of some kind, but I've not read in depth about it for a while

Looks like it was a little soggy, they say it was sealed to keep it dry, but if it has be submergered in water for 50 years, I would be suprised if it is not wet!
