We were on them last year when we were down for the illuminations. I must admit they are very smooth and comfortable..................but its not the same as the old ones. Thankfully they have kept a few and run them at weekends and illuminations. Anybody else been on the new trams.? _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

I live in Norfolk and a few years ago Took a short break in Blackpool just to see and ride on the old trams spending a lot of money in the town for accomdation food and other atractions for the rest of the family while there, wouldnt do the same for the new trams. If I want to ride on a new tram there are plenty closer to me. Personaly I think Blackpool have scored an own goal with this one but I guess time will tell. _________________ If the world didn't suck we'd all fall off |
