A very long time ago I bought a 1968 RHD 2 door Saloon, which looked very good in dark blue. Then the yearly inspection started here and it turned out the car needed extensive rot repairs, almost as much as Richards A55. I started on that but after half a year got fed up. Someone wanted it and I sold it (with a loss of course).
Years later I came across a LHD 1958 grey 2 door Saloon and bought that. A good year, having leather seats and a nicer instrument. Got a very good offer after three years and sold it on (200% profit, which is unique for me).
Minors are great little cars but flimsy in the chassis / floor department.

Trauma to the front seats indeed - The one shown is much much better than the remains I sit on to drive my MG TD!!
Anyway it will make the 4/44 Wolseley mentioned herein seem like the Cannonball express with that SV engine -----
