Here's one that Salopian may just approve of Wink

A magnificently-patinated (!) Austin 7 Chummy, with interesting history, it's bound to get the A7 lads and lasses quivering over the bid button Smile

I noticed that, one listing does say please bid in the other listing, it seems like an expensive way of showing a few extra photos.

Didn't notice the reference, as you say a roundabout way to show more photos.

That would be nice to get up and running and road legal as it is.

Wish I had the time and money

Unfortunately it looks like it has been robbed of many of its expensive bits: no lamps, steering wheel, correct carburettor, the alloy body cappings, one seat is a later pattern, the spare engine & gearbox is from a later car, etc.
At the right price it could make a decent, tatty, non-original runabout, but it is going to take a long time and a lot of money to find all the right bits to make it a cracker Sad
And something doesn't look right with that front axle - it looks far to narrow for the wings, doesn't it?

Do you think the wings may be too wide, rather than the axle too narrow? It'd need comparing to photos of known-correct cars to be sure.

There are in-period photos of Chummies on here:

I don't know: looked at in isolation, the body and wings together look ok, and similarly the front axle I relation to the rest of the chassis looks ok... but put the two together, and something doesn't look right.
