Does anyone recognise this machine, or parts of it perhaps? Certainly different, and if a one-off creation, it deserves to survive .... maybe a prototype put together at a factory that went no further, or just built up by a handy engineer at home?

What a fantastic project for someone - sorry, not me Laughing - to take on!
The engine looks to be side-valve Ford, and I should recognise that front suspension, but it escapes me at the moment Embarassed As for the bodywork, it looks to be very skilfully made, but not finished to a professional standard, so I would guess it's someone's very ambitious early-sixties special. A real challenge for someone...

If it stayed cheap I'd be half tempted to buy it and store it away safely on stands somewhere, in order to research it - perhaps starting with the name of the chap whose home it was found at.

Shows, what keeping something out of the worst of the weather does, look at the back, compared to the front...

Hi
Is it just my imagination, or does the central part of the bonnet look like it has been fabricated from a MM?
