Hi out there.....
can anyone recommend anybody to fabricate a new opening windscreen surround....
I would prefer brass or stainless.......the vehicle is a 1930 C4 Citroen..
If u look at photos u will see that all the corners are rounded and the lower
edge is also rounded / arched to follow the shape of the bulkhead...
I had decided to cut it from a stainless sheet ie...inner and outer edges with a third filler strip tig welded to hold them apart and form the outer edge....
any ideas......I don't fancy a weeks work with a jig saw and a draw file shaping them and who knows what it will twist like when welded....
''but if needs must.''
cold formed would be ideal.......any ideas.....

Wessex workshops in Wilts advertise in The Automobile as fabricators of windscreens. You could try them. 01373 823513.
I have no idea about their work...worth a call?
