I attended the static show along with Rick and a selection of other locals, with the cars that had been on the run out to Chirk Castle returning at around 3pm. It was held on the Nantwich Football Ground car park, not quite as nice a location as Barony Playing Fields and not helped by having almost no signs in the local area to let people know it was on.

Hi Mike

I'm a few thousand miles away from Nantwich at the moment so couldn't make it ! Did the chap with the trophy win something for having the best Ecky Thump hat (showing my age!) or was it vehicle related?

A few snaps of my own. The gathering has two parts, one a static afternoon show that we took part in, and the main event which is a 100 mile road run, that ends at the same location in town. We arrived at 1pm, with the first of the run cars arriving a couple of hours or so later.

would these cars have passed my house in Llangollen during the run out by any chance?
is there a website/link for the club as its fairly local to me and i need a club to join!
