apparently, if one is wealthy enough and has a busy schedule of doing absolutely NOTHING to benefit anyone but herself, she can get out of what had been certain jail time. of course i'm talking about the Hilton heiress...poor dear; it must have been pure heck for the four days she spent in.... is it any flipping wonder we Americans have become the laughingstock in justice? aahhh forget it. we let OJ off too....

Hi
So If one of us was to go to jail, and say that we felt ill, would be be allowed home to "carry on our sentabce"?
They said she was confined to her own house, but I bet her house is the size of a town anyway!
Cheers

I wonder if I could be confined to a 30 room 150 acre Beverley hills mansion with swimming pool, gym etc and be allowed to throw lavish parties in which I could laugh to all my friends about the silly little tag on my leg?

Apparently the Judge was very upset with the Sheriff for subverting his decision... but the little dear can attend court via telephone so i've heard... celebrity is worth every penny. i am so astounded by this kowtowing that i do not know HOW to express my disappointment.
