Had a great day, missed one of our members, Richard H, and met two others, Smiffy220 and EMMS
Nice to see you all, Dave & Joners, and John and his wife.

What a super turn out, be nice to know the total count, didn't get around to see everything. I did hear there were more show areas besides the two fields and along the prom front.

No wonder half the staff were on pushbikes Laughing Laughing

Have to bring the scooter next time Wink

First time I have seen and Alldays & Onions close up, Must be a fun drive.

I have reduced the size by 50% but for some reason they stay over large when coppied here.

Still, looking at a photo a piece at a time seems the norm.

Great gathering and setting by the looks of it, thanks for posting. Not often you see so many Jowetts in one place.

Why do they do it.
It's obvious it is not a genuine split window Beetle, wrong boot lid, wrong wings, wrong lights, roof line is wrong and the doors and side windows are not right.

Looks bloody ridiculous

If they wan't to customise that's OK with me but to try and fake a look, and badly at that.
OK if you wan't to make a replica at least get the rest correct.

Same thing with the Ferrari 360 spyder that someone was showing there Roger. Looked like was probably an MR2 underneath, but they had spent so much on it to make it look like a Ferrari, they could probably have bought one for what they spent!

Nice pics mate, and was a really good day. Be back next year again!!
I'll add mine sometime soon.

Hi Dave
Did you get to see RH.

I didn't even get around half the entries, some were still arriving after lunch.
I left about 4.30. there was classics heading in every direction, don't think I came to a single road without one classic waiting.
Next year I'll cheat and bring mothers Mobility scooter Very Happy

Be nice to know how many did turn up, bit different from when the council ran the event.

So some more photos.
