My beloved caravan was close to a fire and gasgets melted and a window was broken and barbequed. does anyone have a suggestion on where I can find a replacement.

Presumably it's glass? In which case you can have a new glass cut at a glaziers. Use the old as a pattern if still in suitable condition, other wise make a template from hardboard or ply. Take the template and the frame to the glaziers with you to show them.
If by gaskets you mean the rubber seal between glass and frame, a windscreen fitters will have adhesive gasket tape that you stick to the glass and then persuade into the frame. Or you can buy from East Kent Trimmings or similar a pre-formed rubber U-section extrusion. I prefer the stick-on; much easier to fit. |
