What I find staggering is that the hammer price was £17.5 million, the purchaser pays £19.6 million and the seller also loses a chunk, so Bonhams are relieving rich people of their money, poor ones too probably and plenty of it.

Google Coys history too if you're in doubt.

My son restores cars for the super rich, Royals, Maharajahs you name it, mostly lovely people and without whom, many of these extraordinary cars wouldn't exist and gifted craftsmen wouldn't have the opportunity to work on them. They create loads of jobs.

The top 10% of this country pay 55% of the tax take, so rich people are already taxed to the point where they'll leave if they are hit any harder. The super rich might live anywhere.
