|
Hi
Just a Quick Quiz, when this is done, I will try to find another, hehe
What car had the engine with two Pistons within the same cylinder, the explosion happening between the two? It was also claimed this car could run on any fuel, including Brandy and Whisky!
Cheers

Hi buzzy, I think that the answer you are looking for is the 1903 Gobron-Brillie, are you not?
Though there are others...loads of them?

Hi
You seem to have the answer, Quiz two will be tonight! This will have to be harder!
Well done though!
Gobron BrilliƩ, made in France between 1898 and 1930, started with rear engined cars, with thes twin piston per cylinder engines, that would run on any fuel, or so they say! In 1904, a racing Gobron was the first car to exceed 100mph!
Cheers

This seems to have been to difficult for everybody, so I'll add some clues.
The engine has 2 Connecting rods, 4 pistons, and 8 piston crowns....and everything doesnt revolve more than 30 degrees.....
