I noticed there aren't many motorhomes on here.
This is mine,a Mk1 transir CI.
I bought this is a pretty poor state some while ago on ebay. After welding in new steps, chassis sections and patching up the body I fitted power assisted front disc brakes,an overdrive four speed box and modified and rebuilt the V4 engine.
Although it's not used much now I am loathe to part with it and it sometimes comes in handy for moving things or trundling down a few bits and bobs to the local car boot. _________________ Thirty years selling imperial hand tools for old machinery(Now happily retired). |

A great looking vehicle....
I think there's generally more of a time lag to widespread appreciation of 1970's motor homes and caravans compared to cars - I certainly experience this with my 1978 caravan - but who cares, I'm a fan! _________________ David Rachel

That looks really nice, I've always liked the MK1 Transit.
I think if you own a Motor home, it's always going to be a handy thing to have |
