I need some help to source an umbrella basket for my Alldays. You see these things on most old cars, it's a tall narrow wicker basket attached to the outside of the car for carrying umbrellas.
Complete Automobilist does not have them and neither does the VCC shop. _________________ Richard |

Hi
They would have probably beeen made to order for the owners by local craftsmen/women.
Watch out for a craft fair locally and see if there is a basket weaver there, I bet they would relish the challenge of a different shape.
They sound as if they might have been a variation on the wicker eel traps that fenmen used to make and set.. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
