Hello!

I mentioned this in my other thread, but it may have been missed. I may be on a total wild goose chase here, but does anyone know where I might be able to find some side windows for my 1950s Eccles?

I have one at the moment – here is a photo!

Sadly the other two have been blocked up. We would really like to open them up.

Measurements in mm: 498 high x 775 wide (approx – in inches it measures 19.6 across x 30.5 high).

I have some feelers out atm (breakers, ebay etc) but If anyone does have any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.

Looking through some photo's I have I found this one, its a 1957 Eccles Aristocrat and it looks like the same model as yours.

That one is very similar to mine ,looks to be the same size, but there are a couple of differences.

• Mine has a round window in the door, and that looks to be a stable door – I don't think mine has this (although it has maybe been blocked up)

• There is only one side window on the door side of mine – in this one the door is closer to middle, on mine its nearer the end. And the door in mine is on the otherside of the caravan. In the photo below the door is at the opposite end of the caravan to the hitch. Was that an option? "Which side would you like your door".

Could it be the same model, but seeing as it is a different year perhaps the styling was slightly altered?

*ETA: That carvan is LOVELY, its basically what I'm aiming for with mine!*

Another 50's Aristrocrat – you might be right, that one looks bang-on.

DUH I mean 30.5 wide x 19.6 high.

I'm really not the brightest sometimes.
