Built up from new as a 2500 estate with Stag engine & running gear in it (later replaced by a Rover 3.5) by an enterprising garage, it's more of a V8 2500 than a Stag Estate.

It has quite a history file according to the description, could be a fun car to own but it needs plenty of work.

Very interesting.

There are 12 bids up to £2151 with 5 days to go. It reminds me of the Costello MGBGTV8s which were built to order by Costello until BL asked to see one, decided to produce the MGBGT V8 itself and then refused to sell any further components, cars or engines to him.

What will it make, I wonder?

£5000 +?

And a couple of years later, Stag owners were looking for Triumph 2500 engines to replace their unreliable 3.0l V8's Laughing
