Last weekend saw the annual meeting of a small club who relive those days of yesteryear. The hairstyles, the clothing - they did the lot. Of 130 members, 102 made the effort to partake in this weekend coming from all over France. I hope you like the photos.

great photos, well done.
For those those Brits with older vans who fancy a bit of easy foreign travel, google ECCR. Lots of the vans shown in the pics can also be seen at these rallies, somewhere in Europe every year, around Accension day weekend. Great fun, and loads of vans that we never see in UK. |

I've just checked, and "ECCR" doesn't work! Sorry, but use "European Classic Caravan Rally" |

I like the last photo showing the Renault 4CV car with panelled in rear door made to look like a van (a lot of fakes out there).
The foreign tin is worth a look at as well, you just do not see these models of cars over here very often.
Must look out for a Peugeot 203C from the 1950`s,would look good towing my Carlight or Viking Fibreline.
When we take the Carlight to sites or venues in France we cause quite a stir when we get out the bygone camping equipment, and light the paraffin lamps in the evening outside the caravan.
The modern campers in their plastic motorhomes are amazed a few inexpensive old lamps and nick nacks adds ambience to the camping scene.
