All I hear from the show is that if it ain't nailed down, it'll get nicked.
I'd love to book up and go, but year after year stuff goes missing.

That's a total myth, plenty of security there and We have been going for years and only heard of a couple of times things got pinched and that was stuff left out when it should have been put away.

Its a mind blowing show, well worth a weeks holiday, nothing less will give you time to see it all.

A member of Northants 4x4 had his complete tow bar and frame unbolted from his land rover while it was parked in the car parking area. Crying or Very sad Shocked

Well that could have happened anywhere. this year there were about 10,000 campers and around 20,000 visitors at the show. the police had two officers there and there was only one incident of some kids mucking about in a toilet, setting the paper on fire which put the toilet on fire, otherwise not heard of anything else this year. But let me say I'm not saying everyone there is a saint. Just that crime happens every where and some happens at the show sometimes. But to hear some people talk, it's a sink hole of crime, murder and mayhem.

Your're right. It's a shame stuff just goes missing anywhere. Everyday crime these days. Some people just can't leave stuff alone.

I will one day get myself booked up to go to Dorset. Everyone I know that has gone says it's good, so I must get there oneday.

We went this year for the first time, stayed in the public camping. We had a fantastic time with no hassle at all. Definitely going next year, hopefully we will get in the caravan section.

The only time I have had anything go missing was on a public camp site.

We leave about twenty paraffin lamps lit up outside our display at shows whilst over in the evening beer tent, in all the years I have lost one. Then the next year when I turned up I was handed it by one of the organisers.

They had found it hanging up elsewhere but knew it was one of mine.
How`s that for service.

We have been to Dorset....one of the shows you must do at least once in your life. Very Happy

G.F.
