That's in about in the same condition as my 3.4 was when I bought it in 1991.
It's rare to see a 3.8 not on wire wheels these days although the majority of Mark 2s were sold new with ordinary steel wheels. The Ace wheel trims are rare and interesting.
The Opalescent Silver Blue colour is original. I would have liked a photo of the rear spring hangers and the condition of the sills. That repair on the o/s rear sill where the jacking point is looks far from recent.

A friend of mine bought a 1967 E registered Mark 2 3.8 which, although RHD and exported to the USA was reimported back to the UK some years ago. It looked very solid but when further inspected on a ramp the chassis legs leading from under the front bulkhead were very rotten and were difficult and structurally too important and expensive to try repairing or replacing . He sold it on and bought a pre war Riley instead.

The condition of the front chassis legs is a crucial and often overlooked part on a Mark 2.

Whoever buys it will need deep pockets.
