Hi im looking for a bit of help with an Albion gearbox. Its fitted in a 1932 Coventry Eagle. The number on the box is MF548 if that helps. The problem I have is when moving away it seems as if the rear brakes are binding but that's not the case, the more it travels the worse it gets until the rear wheel stops. As anyone come across the same problem and if so is it a new box or are they easy to refurbish.
Many thanks. |

never had a bike that old,Buddy.might be worth speaking to Hitchcocks Motorcycles,as they have dealings with Albion 'boxes, albeit fitted to Royal Enfields. |
