It had originally been a pale green with matching leather, but the owner, who long term loaned it to me, had painted it BRG. It looked very good and went well, but wheels collapsed from time to time.

Interestingly Rolls-Royce, whose equivalent car was £1400 to the Jaguar's £400, bought one and couldn't fault it. However they did drive it round Brooklands flat out till it dropped a valve in and then send William Lyons the bill. He was canny, knew what they'd done and told them to pee off!
