A neighbour appeared today with the badge below (it's been lying about in a cupboard and he wants rid of it) and it looks to me - from a bit of internet searching to be 1907-1920s - although most I can find have a square flag and not the full round one. The number on the badge is DB917 and the maker is Elkington and Co.
Anyone have any information on the year of the badge, any other information, and what a fair price would be as I don't want to make an offer that is a bad deal for either of us.
Thanks |

I think it's later Peter as the crown looks different. I'd say 1930s but can I find my 'Badges of the RAC' book? Nowhere to be seen! |

Thanks, I can't find anything on RAC numbers and have found a few forums asking the same question with no answers.
This one looks better than the first link but not as good as the second - and nickel plated as opposed to solid nickel so maybe worth £20.
It is my initials and would look good in the garage next to my AA one... |
