Just starting a ground-up restoration on a 1938 Morris 8/40 Roadster with dicky seat, will be needing to get some timber to re-build the frame. I was wondering what timber may have been used on the Morris 8/40 here in Australia by coach builders in the 1930's, I am to believe they used Ash ?
I can obtain kiln dried Victorian Ash from a supplier in Melbourne, Australia.
Any information will be greatly appreciated. |
