Nice looking car! Shame about the accident damage to the front, but hopefully with a new bumper and the numberplate straightened out it should be ok. One of the bumper irons on my Farina was actually bent after an accident, I had to take it off, compare it with the other one, heat it up with a blowtorch and whack it back into shape over an anvil!
Did you get this one from Wales? Looks familiar. _________________ Richard Hughes |

just a short update the A60 was alot worse than thought and the mot has been reported to VOSA as there is no way a mechanic even looked at it for its mot both rear outriggers rusted through a hole within seat belt mount range play in tie rod ends and kingpins horn not working broken number plate bracket and headlight dip beam not working on passenger side both front door locks broken so unable to open from outside it has proven a nightmare so far i paid a £1000 pounds based upon having a years mot and so far it has cost over £1200 just for parts to get it into a roadworthy condition and that dosnt include welding hopefully it will be re moted in january i didnt think it was easy to get a dodgy mot these days but i guess it is |

Sounds very familiar to me, my A55 MK2 also came with a bent MoT from a garage in Dagenham and I found loads of things that showed to me it hadn't been near an MoT station in years
Even the mileage on the certificate had been doctored to make it look like it had done about 5000 miles in the last three months! As the brakes didn't work, the engine barely ran and there was petrol pouring out of the carb, among other things, I very much doubt that. _________________ Richard Hughes |
