| Doesn't look too bad to me. If it's as sound as they say, worth buying as opposed to a cheaper one that needs framework replacing. |

If you want such a caravan and if it doesn't need restoration then I agree, you won't regret a single penny that you spend on buying it. It looks like a fine example to me. _________________ David Rachel

If this is as good as described its price is about right. They have been going for £1500 - £2500, but usually drop a bit this time of year to allow for winter storage costs.
And the buyer is urged to join the Classic Safari Caravan forum!! _________________ Brian

hi all
most of us on this forum will have vans from the 60s and 70s
and the next time you go into a caravan dealers look at the tat that they are trying to sell for 2 or 3 thousand, and compare them to your classic and then see if its over priced
any good caravan should be £1000 plus and if its a real goodun well in excess of 2 grand
we sell ourselves short quite a lot in the way we price our vans
as a Royale owner i have seen a rise in prices with good vans now around the £2000 plus and can only hope that this continues, our vans are much better built than most of the modern one's and atleast we can repair them ourselves

Totally agree with Chris.
The problem is the damp ones that owners think are worth £1000 plus, and the newcomers to the hobby who get caught.
Then there are those who to think that if they paint the natural wood and put a few flowery cushions inside it will double the value! I am increasing my stocks of original cupboard doors to sell when this trend is over! _________________ Brian
