Purchased a powered jockey wheel (Motor Mover) but need the handlebar that guides and incorporates the forward/reverse switch. Any links please as to where I can buy parts.
Failing this I guess I'm going to have to make my own! |

A friend fitted one of these to his new caravan.
He left the remote control on his drivers seat, threw something onto the seat.
The motormover started up and smacked the caravan into the side door of his car....I laughed for a week.
Stick to pulling, grunting and pulling your back out I say. |

I had a jocky wheel mover and it was utterly usless. It never had the grunt to move my 13 foot castleton up my drive. _________________

hi
a few of the members of the Royale clud have fitted motor movers to there Royales and are very happy with the results
you have to weld a plate to the old B&B chassis, and going forward on rough ground the jockey wheel isn't the best but its a lot better than pushing if you need to be in a tight space, when you have a bad back
i think i will be fitting one to my Tourmaster in the spring as im feeling lazy

Hi Christine, our son is going to sort the steering arm / on-off switch to my mover. Our recent house move has left me with a driveway that is on a slight slope toward the road, I can drive the car and caravan into the drive, garage the car and then, using mover, turn the caravan around and park it next to my garage. This will then be ready for hitching up again. No way could I do this turn around manually Roll on new season! |
