CARCRUISER FURNITURE IN STORAGE.[img][/img][img][/img]
WOULD LIKE TO GET IT STRIPPED OUT QUICKER BUT HAVE TO DO IT SO THAT THE FURNITURE DOES NOT GET DAMAGED SLOWLY, SLOWLY,

That furniture looks really nice.
Hope you do not think I am butting in but do not varnish it.ahhh

Instead after preparation apply a coat of button polish with a lint free cloth to seal it.
Then after de-nibbing between coats give it a few coats of beeswax to bring it to a lovely natural finish.
I used medium oak on one of our caravans.

It also gives the interior that fantastic aroma that everyone likes as soon as they stick their heads in for a look.

I use it all the time on my furniture restoring etc.

hi, thanks for that, we were just going to oil it with danish oil. where would i get button polish? we need to bring the new wood down to the original colour first, think this could be a bit of a trial. any ideas please.

front end nearly there, nearside and front panel off and not too bad just a few bits and a bit of damage in floor from mice.[img][/img][img][/img]
found loads of small items behind things in van and it all tells a story so i will photograph it all and show you, you may think its rubbish but we think its great.
