hi everyone,i am new to this forum and new to caravans, i have just bought a stirling caravan, i was told it was 1958 but i dont think it is, the serial number is 11264. any info would be helpfull, i wish i had done some homework before buying , after getting it home and further inspection the rear corner is rotten, the one that has the gas box. would this be best tackeld from the outside or from the inside, any info would be much appreciated, thanks, Rob

hi rob
if you have damp in one corner you have to do a reseal as well as replacing the rotten wood
the way you repair and replace the interior frame and finish is down to you i have to work in the street and for security i tend to do it from the inside,if it's onlya small piece thats fine but if it's a larger repair i think you need to remove the pannels
