Pre-war(almost) motoring for not-too-much-£££ on offer here, long MOT too. Is this the model that shared most of its bodyshell with the Series E Morris?

I prefer the look of the Wolseley rather than the Morris, not many of these about either.

Another '47 Wolseley 8 has turned up on ebay, very much in original order by the look of it and with an interior that'd come up nicely with a little TLC.

Yes it shares lots of the Morris SE body bits, it was the posher version! its much rarer and IMHO better looking than the SE.

Ha Ha Smile Interestingly I was looking at the front wings, they are much closer to the Z Van wings that the Series E wings, I really need 2 front wings for the Z van and was looking at modifying some SE wings (Z van wings are as rare as hens teeth), I'll look out for some Wolesley units Smile

Not only was the Wolseley 8 better looking than the Morris series E, it had an OHV engine.

In my view the OHV Wolseley engine should have been fitted to the original series MM Morris Minor.

Seems that Lord Nuffield was getting on in years and not keen on change.
