Apart from the usual after shaves and deoderants, I hope the family isn't giving me a subtle hint. Smile

My presents have included :

1. A metric tap and die set - an Aldi one.
2. A Kamasa set of screwdivers, posi, hex and straight. Very Happy

What did Santa Claus bring you?

A load of vouchers for my local parts factors, a small gas soldering iron, cash for parts, all very usable. A subscription to "Car Kulture Deluxe" magazine, and a watch from my sons newly launched watch co. which I am almost too scared to wear as I usually have cheap stuff.
Also the usual books I might read (if hospitalized or very bored, Jeremy Clarkson features heavily Shocked ) and jumpers, gloves, etc Laughing

Just wear it Smile , my wife's a jeweler, and has customers who are farmers to whom who she has sold £10k ++++ Rolex, they wear it day, cover them in sh¥^t then bring them in for an occasional clean and polish, after which they look brand new Smile (that's the watch , not the farmer !!!)

Dung would keep the leather supple, whereas sparks from an angle grinder............ Crying or Very sad
I once had my wrist saved when an exploding grinding wheel hit my watch face. I tend to wear heavy divers watches, it didn't survive to tell the time.

I had a grinding wheel explode on me too. One part went clean through the ceiling, another bit hit me in the leg, loads of stitches and plastic surgery. The hole it left was big enough that I could see the bone. Five seconds before I'd been bent over the thing,if it had gone then I wouldn't be typing this.
Some things are just meant to be I guess.

One of these advanced lekky tablet thingys. It's fitted with something called Skype and I can transmit my voice and ugly, ageing mug to friends while they are trying to eat their breakfast.
What I really wanted was a bag of sand to sprinkle on the decking so I can get to my workshop without falling and breaking my ribs again.
Santa brought me a lot of booze I don't dare drink, and food I don't dare eat.
Nothing in my stocking in the car line, the nearst thing being a drinking vessel with vintage motorcycles emblazoned thereon.

Happy new year everyone.
