I am about to do a service on the Aston and checking in the garage I may need some gearbox oil, I may need some rear axle oil and I will need some for the lever arm dampers.
I usually get a delivery of Castrol Classic 20W/50 direct from Castrol and they supply the EP90 and St90 etc. too.
But it occurred to me that it would be nice, on a Saturday morning to actually be able to go to a garage and buy what I need as I need it. Not have to anticipate what I may need and place an online order etc.
Do any of you have a retailer/store/garage near you that stocks classic oils? I can't think of one in my area of Berkshire. |

Yep we have two car spares shops (same chain), both approx 5 miles away from here although in opposite directions, that stock all the usual classic grades, including straight 30 and so on. Plus the guy in the local market can get 20/50 if I need it. I've not looked for gearbox oil lately.

We have a large industrial estate on the edge of our town.
There are all manner of small businesses there catering for your every need.
We have all manner of motor factors in this area. I use EU Exhausts for a lot of items I need. They are a trade outlet with outlets all over the east of England.
It helps that Dave the chief storeman worked for a Austin, Morris, Jaguar etc garage in our town in the 1970`s/1980`s, he remembers all the cars that are now classics.
