Hi can anyone tell me how i go about getting a heritage certifate for my 1972 Triumph Stag thank you Martin

Welcome aboard, I would imagine the first thing to do is phone or email BMIHT at Gaydon to establish what records they have.

Any photos of the Stag available? it'd be neat to see a thread about it sometime

You should have no problem at all in getting a Heritage Certificate from BMIHT. They have full records for all post war Triumphs up to 1984. You can apply for a Certificate on line via the following link (just select the specific type of Certificate you want and fill in the required details):

The only significant detail you need is the chassis / commission number. This will be on the V5 and should also be on a data plate which I expect is in the engine bay (if it is like a on TR).
