Very much of it's time, but worth a watch to show very different attitudes to motoring compared with today.

There are some real gems on YouTube.

I remember it well!

Interestingly, a chum of mine, Paul Hewitt (we worked together at Ford Europe mid 1960s and also spent much time socially) was at the time this film was being made, a member of the Chiltern Car Club and the producer was a friend.

The trial (mud plugging) featured a shot where a car turns slightly sideways and covers Robertson-Justice in mud thrown from the read wheels; it was Paul driving his Lotus 6 trials car and he told me the shot needed numerous takes. Robertson-Justice was wiped down after each take and Paul had to do it again, and again, and again!

Paul won a series of trials and was 750 Motorclub Trials Champion in the early 60s.
