Well, the bilingual signs in Wales can lead to some hilarious errors, as here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/7702913.stm, but one of the best ones is to be seen coming off the A465 at Brynmawr onto the A467. The first confirmatory sign gives the distance to Abertillery as 5 miles, after the next roundabout Abertillery is 3 miles, and the direction sign at the last roundabout says 4 miles - all in rather less than half a mile  |
