Have you got an Xmas wish list ?
I have stuff that I want, but it's never the sort of things that I can drop a general hint for ....this year as I have started to get in to pannel fabrication , it's a 32 oz hollowing hammer. .....I had to provide all the supplier details Smile and hopefully I won't be surprised on Christmas morning Laughing

How do you tackle this annual challenge ?

Dave

The only specific thing I wanted this Christmas was a particular book relating to motor racing, which is now squirrelled away somewhere awaiting the 25th. Otherwise, there's not much I really want/need.

What I really need is an effective heater for my Land Rover Series 2a. The original Smiths heater started leaking some years ago and I replaced it with a new universal one designed for kit cars and so on.
It works but only feebly.

A new Clayton heater is what I'm dropping heavy hints about.

I MIGHT be be lucky......... Smile

MrsP knows me too well.

"What do you want for the car this year, dear?"

Then I go on Amazon and find her wish list.

Simples.

I would very much like a Carcoon, but as the company don't seem bothered about my enquiry and my wife would go bananas if she found out how much they cost, I think I'll have to set my wish list a little lower...

I have always lusted after an Invicta Low Chassis, so before "popping the question" did my research. Sadly, not in 1:18 or 1:43 is it available. So I'll simply ask for a real one. If I am not here after Xmas ring the police please.......

I have sort of said to my wife that one of these would be very handy here. Getting down to the beaches. Going up to the mountains. But would have to have a one with a Cannon mounted on it to sort out some of the terrible local drivers here.

But we would have to move as it would not fit in the driveway.

Oh well back to the Toyota Vitz i suppose.

We may be getting old, but once again hints have been dropped about something silky, with see through lace, but I guess I will end up getting socks.

I know one of my hints has produced a result; a large, quite heavy box marked 'Glass handle with care' has arrived from the Black Sheep Brewery!

Me too. have been on a guided tour of the brewery (organised by our local vicar at the time) A great night had by all. (When my wife died in 1989 that vicar gave me 2 crates of Guinness - and I have had more hangovers being out with him than any other individual)
It is agony when I go for lunch on a Sunday as they have Black Sheep on draught - and because I am driving I am restricted to diet coke Sad

I buy car parts during the year and tell my partner that is my Christmas present from her. Simples
