......hazard lights. I mean that the lights on my Austin are quite hazardous
I also have ABS brakes, an acronym for "abysmal"!. |

Instead of having the petrol tank in a vulnerable position at the back of the car, mine has been located in the engine bay, just above my knees !
They thought of everything in those days.  |

They thought of everything in those days.  |
Fiat thought that concept so good that they repeated it right into the 1970's so my 1969 '500 benefits from the same feature.
The car is also constructed entirely from crumple zones. The problem is that the occupants occupy the main zone.  |

Why have an Airbag, when like me, you can have a Gas Bag that also provides audible warnings for real and imagined hazards along with maximum speed warnings for every condition.

Fiat 500s become lighter and lighter as they get older, so improving the power to weight ratio.
It means you can accelerate out of trouble!  |

My Singer has padding to the front edge of the under dash shelf to protect your knees in the event of a crash...lol

My Honda has the dash built in a position where your knees already touch it, so in the event of an impact
you have zero distance to travel before impacting said dash with those knees.....
Here is a picture of my Nephew in the Honda to demonstrate:
