We've just got back from our Euro-jaunt, which took in the ECCR again, and I must endorse everything that David has said about the event. It was again a great weekend, and made extra special by the parade of Citroen DS's on the Friday afternoon.
Good to see David and Katya again, and of course my old sparring partner BrianM and his grandsons, and also to meet up with other friends, old and new. Here's to next year! |

Yes - I too, am having trouble understanding that concept!! See you both there.
It is near Amiens in Northern France from 14-17 May 2015, if any other Classic Caravans owners want to join us. _________________ Brian

Brian, you can go in July if you like, but the rest of us are going in May!
Gremlins or age? |

That's because just like Brian you're too old to work Emerson! Unlike us young 'uns! _________________ David Rachel

...and by the way, isn't it about time you worked out how to take a picture Emmerson, to have next to your name?
Brian - perhaps he's a little embarrassed with the Royale! _________________ David Rachel

It's about as much as I can manage to type posts, David! I am probably the most computer-illiterate man on the planet, but I'll ask Anne if she can put up a pic.
Not just now though, as she's spitting feathers as she has just lost a whole page of a rally report she was writing. I'm keeping out of the way!
And yes, Brian & I are now too old to work, but we're quite happy for you youngsters to do it on our behalf! |

David - please keep paying your National Insurance Contributions so us pensioners can keep our classic caravans on the road!! _________________ Brian

I have been asked by the RCCF (the French organisers of the ECCR in Amiens on May) to co-ordinate ALL bookings for UK caravans. Booking forms and final details now available, so I would ask all UK entrants - please send an email to ECCR@ClassicSafariCaravans.co.uk and full details will be sent by return. _________________ Brian

Morning Brian. I've just received my entry form from Benoit by email, so have returned it to him, before I read your email. Sorry!
I also included Colin on our form.
Typing this between visits to the bog, so need to be quick!
I've been proper poorly for the last few days, but I'll be right in a minute!
Right, now I can book the ferry. |

Thanks for sharing Emmerson! Although I hope you're better now. I guess it's what comes of abusing your body at such a tender age _________________ David Rachel

Thank you David. I'm much better now, and if you so desire, I shall regale the whole of the British contingent at ECCR with all the gory details!
Only ten weeks now to departure, and still no new engine! |
