My Austin 10/4 wire spoke wheels are quite rusty and need to be stripped and re-painted. The rust is not too bad to require new spokes. There is plenty of advice on stripping and de-rusting but, What paint should I use? It must obviously be tough and black. Is aerosol or brush best (for the finish not ease of use) What primer/undercoat?

look at the Rustoleum range, it gives a good cover and the base colours come in aerosol as well as brush. If you use the Combi Color it has rust prevention properties as well.
