Hi folks,
I'm probably in both er, camps these days...
Current caravan collection comprises a 1960Carcruiser, a '68 Cheltenham and a 68/9 Bailey Maru which has been in the family since I was 5...
As for campervans, I've had a Marina Suntor since 1999 and now have a Transit Landliner, a Sherpa, a Commer Haylett Olympian and a very dodgy Dodge spacevan. Also no spare time...
May need to rationalise a little this year... _________________ cheers

Llangollen Railway 1960'S weekend. If you have a classic vehicle you get free rail pass for the weekend a 1960's pop group and free train back to the showground so you can have a drink. The show is at Glynduffry, a
n old railway station on one side and the river Dee on the other. |

| It is usually a great weekend, unfortunately this year was spoilt due to ride in ambulance to Wrexham Hospital in the early hours with kidney stone. |

Hi
Found this while researching a History of the MSA of G.B.
I understand it was originally a camper and although modified into a meeting room and promotion vehicle with brew facilities it was still possible to overnight in it while travelling round the various driving test centres in order to meet instructors.

I can remember Fletchers Bread in Sheffield coming round with mobile shops that looked a bit like that. Doubt any of those will have survived...
My Transit was owned by the owner of a factory in Birmingham and he had plenty of space to just park it up inside in 1993 when it was last used. Its got rust issues, but probably no more than it had 20 years ago... _________________ cheers

I had a 1973 Bedford CF, it was excellent but sadly it had to go.
I keep looking on and off as our son who is only 15 wants a camper van so it would be a nice lad and Dad project, but I will keep one eye open _________________ It will come in handy even if you never use it. |

Does this count as it's only an '89? I got it week before last and my new daily driver.

In the UK with fuel between £1.20p and £1.40p a litre, it would be an expensive daily drive. _________________ KA

Well, I don't drive much as I'm retired and have an '85 Olds Delta 88 as my "compact car". Heh. Unfortunately over here, we just don't have any smaller older cars as they never existed. One reason I'd love to move over there!! _________________ Den.
