This might interest car owners in the area, pre-booking is essential as there's a limit of 30 vehicles apparently:

I was hoping you might be able to help me. I work for Britain Does Vintage and we are hosting our first day festival at Kelham Hall, Newark on March 14th. We have just got the go ahead to host a small car rally outside the venue and I was wondering if you might be able to point me in the right direction. I’ve approached a couple of rally organisers but understandably they’re quite busy with their own events.
Vehicle owners are entitled to 2 free tickets for the day festival in return
for bringing their car along!

Kelham Hall is quite a stunning building. Built initially as a private house, but the owners ran out of money and had to sell it. Later on it became a Monastery, then placed for sale again. The houses the opposite side of the main 617, (the Red House, and White House) were of similar use. I knew the owner and visited the White House often, and before the Red house was sold on it was occupied by Nuns. But back to Kelham Hall; the County Fire Service considered buying it to turn into their combined HQ and Training School, but in the end it was purchased by Newark and Sherwood District Council. The Domed building is quite remarkable, at one time it was the largest unsupported dome in Europe, probably eclipsed now, but still a sight.
Best of luck, I attended Rallies there years ago, but pleased to see a re-launch. _________________ KA
