My local car club have arranged a visit to Culzean Castle on the Ayrshire coast. This is a National Trust property and we have been given access here before. It is a great venue and the Trust regard the display of cars as an added visitor attraction. The cars were deployed in groups at strategic points throughout the property. The attached photo shows my Two Seater M8 beside some other British cars.[img][/img] |

Hi
If you are going to Culzean are you all going to divert to Electric Brae in order to get video of your cars rolling uphill? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Funny you should say that. The last time we were there we did precisely that! The "anti-gravity" effect is not massive but in places it does look like the car is creeping UP a slight incline.
The trip from Glasgow to Ayrshire includes a visit to Robert Burns' cottage and Brig o' Doon so all told a great day out.[img][/img] |

We're heading for Brooklands in the Riley this year. It's a 360 mile round trip so we're making a weekend of it. _________________ David

We have been notified of a visit to Floors Castle, near Kelso. It is normally closed but is opening especially for the visit.
Up here, I intend to have a drive/ride around the Island, just depends on the weather for choice of machine. _________________ KA

I've never had the Manta on the road for Drive it Day before, so have organised a run from Kent up into Suffolk of Manta's. Stopping for a nice carvery lunch on the way.

Is the Cheshire run happening still this Sunday?
If it is I am going to park up in the car park opposite the garage and have a watch, what time does it usually pass?

I'll double check the details later in the week, lorries usually start to arrive at about 10.30am or so.
