The Brescia was never the most elegant of Bugattis but I think that one is a good contender for the ugliest cars thread.

Never seen one before, but what an odd looking car. Its like someone has pushed it from both ends making its 'squat' appearance. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

The now retired owners of the Betws y Coed Motor Museum have a Type 57 Bugatti with an interesting history.
To save it falling into the hands of the Nazis it was driven across Europe in front of the advancing German forces as far as Calais and shipped to the UK in 1940.
It was bought by a retired BOAC aeroplane engineer, the late Mr Ken Houghton, who retired here from the Bahamas in 1967 and was the museum's prime exhibit. _________________ Starting Handle Expert

I remember visiting that museum a long time ago. From memory there were quite a few interesting cars in the grass behind a fence, at the rear of the building.

Yes indeed. I don't think the owners, the late Mr Houghton who passed away in 1990 or his son and daughter in law who ran the museum have ever sold anything from the collection even after they retired in 2008
Mr Houghton senior's daily transport was a two tone black and grey MG Magnette until 1990 and as far as I'm aware that is "behind the fence" in company with other desirables. _________________ Starting Handle Expert
