On the weekend of March 14th and 15th, my wife and I visited the New South Wales township of Corowa.
One of the reasons for our visit was to see the KVE (Khaki Vehicle Enthusiasts Inc.) get together. It features the biggest display of ex-military vehicles in Australia.
The origin of this wonderful meeting was when some owners of amphibian vehicles decided to visit the town and take their machines for a swim in the Murray River. From there the gathering has grown. There were over 200 vehicles in the Saturday morning parade.

Not owning a K.V. we attended as spectators in our Rover.

Far to many photos to post here, but if you visit this site, you will get to see quite a lot of them-

Some good stuff there Dane, thanks for the link - plenty to interest Land Rover fans too, of which there are several in these parts Smile

I like these CMP Chevys:

Thanks Rick, I myself prefer the C.M.P. Fords. Better engine with pressure lubrication. Drive up a very long steep hill with the Chevy, and risk running big end bearings. Considering that they were designed for extreme conditions, I would feel much more confident in the Ford, and of course I have had some experience with them as well.
