First time I've attended this show, and a nice setting between the station and the River Dee featured a fair number of cars and a lot of buses. Spending two days there gave me some time to go to both ends of the railway, something I've not managed before now.

It's a great show, hoping to do the 60s one at the end of the month.

Cheers all, it was a nice weekend really, other than the rain. There's some very nice views to be had from the railway, especially looking north from the train. Apparently one of the big houses visible was built for Charles Beyer, of Beyer-Peacock and Beyer-Garratt fame. And yes, not very far from home though I did think I was in for the long haul when I was stuck behind three caravans coming home on Sunday - fortunately it turned out the top speed of 20mph was caused by an old tractor that soon turned off. |
