Has anyone used a company called Classic Car Chrome based at 106 Sutton New Road, Birmingham ? Does anyone know if they are still in business? I ordered and paid for hub caps for an Austin 10 but have never received them. No responses to emails, phone calls go to voice mail, Facebook & Twitter accounts closed down -all very worrying.

Doesn't sound good, how long ago did you send them the hub caps?

Their web page is still there.....

http://www.classiccarchrome.co.uk/

If you look on Google Maps, the area in Sutton New Road looks more like a retail environment rather than an industrial one...

This appears to be number 106, a Royal Mail office

The web site is from 2011, and with the changes in the laws on chroming many went out of business. They hadn't the means to bring their methods up to scratch. I think it was around this time the law came in. They must have closed down, and judging from the address it was a mail box. They say they are members of the FBHVC so a call to them might give you more information. Try this number:-

01865 400845

Email:- secretary@fbhvc.co.uk

Best of luck

If you paid by credit card, approach them to get your money back.

Interestingly they have 100% positive feedback on ebay from over 12,000 purchases, there is recent (last few days) feedback so looks as if they are still trading.
