I saw one of the "new" Morgan Three Wheelers today, in the metal, for the first time and, to be honest I do not really know what what is my opinion of it. I read the reviews this evening and nearly all of them were positive, enthusiastic even.
Powered by an USA made V Twin Motorcycle engine with a Mazda MX5 gearbox I thought it looked odd, "retro" yet modern inside. 80bhp, a 0-60mph time of around 8 seconds and a top speed of 115mph means it is quite powerful but £32k for a basic one seems a lot of money to me.
At weekends I often see the old, original models with diehard looking types with determined faces driving them and long suffering looking wives or partners sat alongside.
Compared with the originals :

Interesting little vehicle but for what they cost I would rather have a "Frontline" modified MG Midget with a K series motor....... |
