Found this AMT 1954 Studebaker Remote Promo at an antique mall.
AMT made 1/25 scale, static, friction drive, and remote promo models.

Also bought this midget tether racer static replica. Not an antique.
It's 10 inches long, 5 inches wide.

I am green with envy as I write! That is my all-time favourite Studebaker. The Commander Coupes were great looking and almost European in their styling. The V-8 models had good performance and the convertible was very sexy.
I visited the Studebaker museum in South Bend in 2012 and, despite their example being all-white, was blown away by it. I also spotted one on the road on the way to the airport in Chicago. Magic!
From a collector's point of view your Stude ticks several boxes for me as I also collect plastic. Nice find. |
