Morning all,

The spec of this '70 16/60 appeals to me for a regular-user car, especially as both an MGB engine and overdrive box have been fitted. The Rostyles suit it too IMO. Only the frilly bodywork puts me off a bit, plus I think I'd prefer the brakes to be beefed up a little.

Are such mods heresy? At least the replacement parts are all from the same lineage!

I'm not a huge fan of the BMC Farinas but those modifications wouldn't put me off at all - writes the man who has a MGB engine in his garage to go in one of his Riley 1.5s; the one with overdrive, telescopic dampers and disc brakes Laughing

With the roly poly handling of these cars, especially with the re-power,some serious work would need to be done on the suspension to make it safe,IMO.
Likewise the braking dept.,as already mentioned.
It IS somewhat unusual as classics go,but I think there are better cars out there.
