Hi all,
Are you using a classic motor to collect your Christmas tree this year, or have you done so previously?
In 2005, the Devon was pressed into service. No paintwork was harmed during the procedure
While in '06, the E83W - back on the road after a few idle years - proved to be more suitable.
Moderns took over for a while, until recently when the Dodge was dragged out of the garage, kicking and screaming, to be used for the task.

Have never actually used the SS for tree collection but did suggest this in a Christmas card for car obsessed friends and few years ago.

I won't be using the Jowett for this purpose as I hope to redeploy last year's tree again. It has been growing happily all year in its enormous pot. My vintage sack barrow may well come into service relocating it into the conservatory! |

Thanks. Yes, I thought that was an improvement on "Scotty's Econocards" that I used to use.

In Manitoba, we would just tie a tree straight onto the roof of the Explorer.
We moved here in December 2013 and perhaps left getting a tree a little late.
For 2014 and 2015, it was off into the bush before the snow arrived.
We keep it outside in a large pail of water/ice until, (maybe this Friday)
